Our client, an established international brand with a global presence, is seeking to recruit a Regulatory Compliance Affairs Officer to join the Compliance Department of its Group located in Limassol. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced regulatory environment. This is mainly an office-based position.
Requirements
- BSc/BA in Economic or Finance, Business Administration, Legal or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar compliance or regulatory role.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance standards and reporting obligations.
- Hands-on experience or exposure to global regulatory frameworks and licensing process across jurisdictions such as Central Bank of Cyprus, FCA (UK), DFSA (UAE), SCA(UAE), VARA (UAE), CIMA (Cayman Islands) is highly desirable.
- MiCAR is nice to have but not essential.
- Exposure to licensing processes with international regulators is also nice to have.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- CySEC Advanced and CySEC AML Certificates are nice to have.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist in the licensing process of various entities inside/outside of the Group.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of the Compliance Monitoring Program including conducting compliance reviews and checks for the entities of the Group.
- Draft, review, and update internal policies, procedures, manuals and agreements providing recommendations to Senior Management.
- Support the preparation and submission of periodic regulatory reports in line with applicable requirements.
- Monitor and assess regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of required changes.
- Prepare and deliver compliance and AML training to group employees. Maintain accurate training logs.
- Provide guidance and support on AML matters, including preparing relevant materials and maintaining AML logs.
- Review and approve marketing materials from a regulatory compliance perspective. Maintain marketing approval logs.
- Handle and assist in the management of client complaints, ensuring proper documentation and maintenance of complaint logs
- Collaborate closely with Senior Management and the Group Compliance Oversight Function.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.
