Our client is a leader in the Travel Services & Aviation industry in Larnaca and they are looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company’s marketing and communication strategies with a strong emphasis on digital performance and social media content creation.

This role requires advanced knowledge of social platforms, digital trends, content production, and hands-on expertise in video creation for channels such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate is creative, digitally savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable producing visual content end-to-end.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing & Social Media (Primary Focus):
    • Implement the Hermes airport  social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.).
    • Manage social media content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging.
    • Create engaging, platform-tailored content such as posts, stories, reels, TikTok videos, and short-form video campaigns.
    • Monitor social media performance and provide analytics-based recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
    • Stay up-to-date with digital trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Content Creation & Multimedia:
    • Produce videos for social media: shooting, editing, adding subtitles, and post-production.
    • Use Canva and/or other creative software (Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, InShot, etc.) to design visual assets and edit videos.
    • Coordinate and execute video/photo shoots when needed.
    • Develop content for marketing campaigns, website updates, newsletters, and presentations.
  • Marketing & Communications:
    • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
    • Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, partnerships, and other brand activities.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track digital performance metrics and prepare monthly reports on engagement, growth, and campaign effectiveness.
    • Recommend improvements based on insights and data analysis.
    • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management.
  • Strong proficiency in Canva and/or other creative design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut, InShot).
  • Ability to independently shoot and edit short-form videos suitable for Reels, TikTok, and similar formats.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and digital best practices.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Photography/videography skills are a strong advantage.
  • Experience in the aviation, travel, or hospitality sector (optional but beneficial).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
  • Familiarity with website CMS tools (e.g., WordPress).
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver high-quality content.
  • Highly creative with strong visual storytelling abilities.
  • Proactive, flexible, and eager to experiment with new digital ideas.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and a passion for digital trends.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and performance-driven.
  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English languages (verbal and writing)

Benefits: 

  • The company is offering a salary dependent on skills and experience 

Working Hours: 

  • The working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:30 until 17:00 with 30’ break.
  • In case you work 30’ extra, then the hours are 08:00 – 17:00 OR 08:30 – 17:30.
  • There is a flexible working policy that the person can cover an extra 30’ on the 4 days out of 5 and select one day to finish at 14:00 OR select up to two times a week to work from home. This is always in agreement with the Manager and the workload.
