A Technology Solutions Provider that provides IT support to a Forex company in Limassol is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist with user account management (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
- Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Maintain IT documentation and update inventory records.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
- Support software updates, patches, and endpoint security tasks.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Greek and English.
- Diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+).
- 0–2 years of IT experience, including internships or hands-on lab work.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with common office applications (Microsoft Office, email clients).
- Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Valid driving license
- Knowledge of Jira ticketing systems will be considered an advantage.
Working hours:
- The working hours are Monday – Friday from 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM including a 1-hour lunch break.
- It’s an onsite role but the staff leave the office at 7:00 PM, so the engineer will primarily be on standby between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM (remotely, no need to be in the office).
- So the engineer will need to work from the office from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM and then till 9:00 PM it’s just a standby role from anywhere.
