A Technology Solutions Provider that provides IT support to a Forex company in Limassol is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Assist with user account management (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Maintain IT documentation and update inventory records.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
  • Support software updates, patches, and endpoint security tasks.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
  • Diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+).
  • 0–2 years of IT experience, including internships or hands-on lab work.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with common office applications (Microsoft Office, email clients).
  • Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Valid driving license
  • Knowledge of Jira ticketing systems will be considered an advantage.

Working hours:

  • The working hours are Monday – Friday from 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM including a 1-hour lunch break.
  • It’s an onsite role but the staff leave the office at 7:00 PM, so the engineer will primarily be on standby between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM (remotely, no need to be in the office).
  • So the engineer will need to work from the office from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM and then till 9:00 PM it’s just a standby role from anywhere.
