This big international Corporate Services Company in Limassol is looking for a Credit Controller who will be responsible for the effective management of the organization’s debtor portfolio, ensuring timely collection of receivables, accurate allocation of payments, and proactive engagement with clients and internal stakeholders.
This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the company’s cash flow, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the organisation’s financial objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, international financial services environment. The Credit Controller will report directly to the Finance Manager.
Duties:
- Issue and dispatch monthly client statements in accordance with internal deadlines
- Ensure timely and accurate allocation of advance payments and credit balances
- Conduct proactive outreach to clients regarding queries, overpayments, and payment allocations.
- Review and assess the financial standing of new and existing clients to support the establishment of appropriate credit limits
- Define, communicate, and consistently apply the organisation’s Terms of Trade in line with the Group Debt Policy
- Monitor and analyse the aged debtor report to identify long-outstanding balances and initiate follow-up actions.
- Negotiate structured payment plans for clients experiencing temporary liquidity challenges.
- Track key credit control metrics, including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and average collection periods
- Prepare accurate weekly reports for the Finance Manager, highlighting risks, trends, and recommended actions
- Promote the services of the Group through interactions with clients and identify potential business development opportunities
- Manage workload effectively to ensure client deadlines and internal service standards are consistently met
- Collaborate closely with all departments within the Cyprus office and other Group offices to ensure seamless information flow and issue resolution
- Escalate capacity challenges and coordinate backup support where required to maintain service continuity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A recognised professional qualification or progress toward one (e.g., ACCA, ACA, AAT) will be considered an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar credit control or accounts receivable role within a professional services or financial services environment
- Strong IT proficiency, including experience with financial management systems and MS Office applications
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple deadlines
- High level of initiative, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with clients at all levels.

Working Hours:
The working hours are 35 hours per week (Monday 9am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch break)
