Our client, a CySEC licensed FX Company in Limassol, is looking to hire an Accounting Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting tasks including bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks (CySEC, ESMA, etc.).
- Support in audits, tax submissions, and liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Assist with payroll processing, vendor payments, and expense monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Compliance) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide support in budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis as required.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in English (both written and oral)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Attention to details and ability to work under pressure-daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
Working hours:
- The working hours are Monday – Friday Flexible starting time between 8:00 – 9:00 AM and finishing between 17:00 – 18:00 (onsite job)
