Our client is an International  professional software development firm and they are looking for an Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O SCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Hybrid / Remote is available.

Position Overview:

  • This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain management processes and principles, as well as extensive experience with Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • The SME will work closely with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and configure the system to meet their needs.
  • Additionally, the consultant will provide expert guidance on best practices, conduct system testing, and offer user training and support during the go-live phase.
  • This role demands strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules, including Inventory Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Sales and Marketing, and Warehouse Management.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for supply chain processes and system optimization.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and support during the go-live phase.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other consultants, to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. It might be less if there is experience with other ERP systems.
  • Experience with collecting functional requirements, writing functional requirement documents, performing Fit/GAP analysis.

    • Set up and maintain the products and released products
    • Understanding the product categories and product attributes
    • Setup dimension groups (Storage, Product and Tracking)
  • Inventory management
    • Setup inventory journals
    • Setup Inventory breakdown (Sites, Warehouses, and locations)
    • Understanding the inventory on hand structure and usage
    • Setup and processing transfer orders
  • Sales and marketing
    • Sales order processing (setup and posting delivery notes, invoices)
  • Procurement and sourcing
    • Purchase order processing
    • Purchase requisition setup and processing is a plus
  • Warehouse management
    • Understanding warehouse processes 
      • Picking
      • Transfers
  • Production control
    • Setup Formulas
    • Setup Route operations
    • Production order processing
    • Setup resources
  • Pricing management
    • Understanding the pricing model
    • Setup and processing trade agreement journals
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other ERP systems
  • Certifications in Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O SCM modules.
  • Understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
