Our client is an International  professional software development firm and they are looking for an Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Hybrid / Remote is available.

Position Overview:

  • This position requires a deep understanding of financial processes and accounting principles, as well as extensive experience with Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • The SME will work closely with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and configure the system to meet their needs.
  • Additionally, the consultant will provide expert guidance on best practices, conduct system testing, and offer user training and support during the go-live phase.
  • This role demands strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Budgeting.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for financial processes and system optimization.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and support during the go-live phase.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dynamics 365 F&O Finance modules.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other consultants, to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. It might be less if there is experience with other ERP systems.
  • Experience with collecting functional requirements, writing functional requirement documents, performing Fit/GAP analysis.

  • Bank management module
    • Setup bank and bank groups
    • Setup bank statement and bank statement processing
  • Tax module
    • General knowledge of VAT system
    • Set up sales tax codes, sales tax groups and sales tax item groups
    • Setup of VAT reports is a plus
  • Fixed assets
    • Setup fixed assets, asset books
    • Setup depreciation profiles
    • Setup and processing fixed assets journals
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other ERP systems
  • Certifications in Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O Finance modules.
  • Understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
