Our client, a Group of Companies with interests in a variety of industries, is currently looking for a Tendering Engineer to join their team in Nicosia. This is an exciting and highly challenging position. The client is looking for someone who is results oriented, dynamic and enthusiastic, with a solid background in mechanical engineering for building services and someone willing to work hard.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical and financial proposals for projects.
- Review and manage the client’s enquiry process into a costed workable solution.
- Develop scope and detail of a project offer.
- To develop and negotiate contract specifications with a variety of external group including consultants, sub-contractors, material suppliers etc.
- To respond to client’s inquiries / requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Liaise closely with the Engineering Department.
- Maintains professional contacts with consultants, architects and other influential contacts and strives to expand contact list.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with differing priorities simultaneously.
- Work within the company’s code of ethics.
Requirements:
- University Degree in mechanical engineering.
- Substantial experience in similar position
- Strong organisational interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages.
- Have a pleasant personality and strong commercial awareness.
