Our client is an International Tech Company in Limassol is looking for a Senior Python Developer to lead the design and development of scalable Python-based backend and data solutions in a cloud-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python
- Build and optimize ETL workflows and data processing pipelines
- Design and implement relational database schemas
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of systems
- Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows
- Contribute to infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience of hands-on Python experience (OOP, async programming, testing, SQL)
- Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred, Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL acceptable)
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL processes
- Hands-on CI/CD implementation experience (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks
- Experience with containerized applications (Docker) is a plus
- REST / GraphQL API-driven development is a plus
- Experience with Robot/Selenium testing frameworks is a plus
- Exposure to cloud-native technologies is a plus
- Fluent English language skills
- Valid work Visa / EU-citizenship
- Located in Cyprus
Working Hours:
The working days are Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm with an hour off. This is a hybrid role: working 3 days from the office and 2 from home.
