Our client, a Lighting Solutions Company based in Limassol, is looking to hire a Sales Representative (EU Markets). We are looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Sales Representative based in Cyprus, responsible for developing and managing sales activities across the European Union. The role involves active business development, client visits, and participation in industry events and exhibitions throughout Europe. The main offices are located in Limassol, with flexibility for remote working, subject to business needs and travel requirements.

The person will do business development in Cyprus also, but it will be mostly abroad. Once hired, the person will go to China for training with one of the partners in their factory for 1 week and then go to Frankfurt where there is a big roadshow for the industry. So travelling is required, mainly in Europe, about 1-2 times a month.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the company’s presence across EU markets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with distributors, contractors, and corporate clients
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers and key partners
  • Travel across EU countries to meet clients, conduct presentations, and attend trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Promote and present the company’s product portfolio effectively
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales agreements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B sales 
  • Experience in lighting, electrical, industrial products, or technical solutions will be considered a strong advantage but is not mandatory
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets will be considered a plus but not a requirement
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the EU
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages will be considered an advantage
  • Valid driving license and EU travel eligibility

Working Hours:

The working hours are 8am -5pm or 9am-6pm (with 1h break), Monday to Friday (hybrid role, working 3-4 days from home)
