My client is an International Holding company with its Headquarters based in Limassol and they are currently recruiting for a Russian speaking senior-level legal professional in the role of Corporate Lawyer to join their Legal team.
This role includes full legal and compliance support for the holding, corporate governance management, tax planning, drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements, advising senior management, participation in investment-related matters, and ensuring compliance with Cypriot and international regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the holding’s legal and compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate, commercial, and investment agreements (including PE/VC, shareholder agreements, JV agreements).
- Conducting legal analysis and Due Diligence (corporate, commercial, investment-related).
- Performing KYC, assessing counterparties, supporting internal audits, and managing CAPA processes.
- Monitoring legal developments and assessing legal and business risks.
- Supporting investment structuring and assisting with transactions involving various asset classes, including real estate, private equity, and venture capital.
- Providing advice on wealth structuring, estate planning, and legal aspects of high-value personal assets (multi-jurisdictional scope).
- Managing external legal counsel.
- Liaising with governmental authorities, regulatory bodies, business partners in Cyprus and abroad.
Candidate Requirements:
- Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association.
- 3–5+ years of professional experience as a corporate or commercial lawyer in Cyprus or a multinational environment.
- Fluency in Russian , Greek and English is required.
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- Solid knowledge of corporate and tax law (incl. double taxation treaties), compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
- Experience in supporting investment projects and asset structuring.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in a dynamic environment.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is EUR 4,000–4,600 net per month.
