Our client, one of the leading Construction and Development companies in Cyprus, responsible for many of the island's landmark developments, is looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor.
General Scope:
- The exact measurement of the works in accordance with the contract conditions and the directions of the PoM and the CmM, and the safeguard of the economic interests of the company.
Duties / Authorities:
- The Quantity Surveyor under the management of the Project Manager will perform the following duties.
- Accurate measurement of the works.
- Timely preparation of monthly Interim Valuations and Final Accounts.
- Pricing of variations.
- Subcontractors:
- Prepare Tender Documents
- Evaluation of tender submissions giving recommendation of award to Project Manager.
- Prepare Sub-contract Agreement.
- Prepare Interim Valuations.
- Prepare Sub-contract Final Accounts.
- Prepare and agree the Final Account and Entitlements in accordance with company directives.
- Contract administration in relation to contractual issues including instructions for record keeping.
- Cash flow monitoring.
- Cost control monitoring.
- Directly subordinate job positions: Measurements Technical Assistants
Required Qualifications / Experience:
- Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer member of ETEK.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language.
- At least 3 years’ experience as Quantity Surveyor.
