Our client, an EU Investment Firm, specializing in Prime Brokerage Services, is looking to recruit a Platforms Admin & DevOps Manager to join their team in Limassol, Cyprus. The Platforms Admin & DevOps Manager will play a key role in managing their trading platform infrastructure. You will work closely with the development and trading teams to build, deploy, and maintain our trading platforms in a scalable, secure, and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining MT4 trading servers, plugins, and integrations. You will also be responsible for streamlining our DevOps Infrastructure, automating deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing cloud infrastructure (Windows and Linux Servers). The role requires expertise in Gitlab, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
Platform Administrator:
- Administer, configure, and maintain MT4 trading servers, plugins, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot trade execution issues, latency, server performance bottlenecks and perform/coordinate any required changes for trading infrastructure (VMs, architecture, applications).
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve platform stability.
- Monitor the platforms health and resources to ensure stability and expected performance
- Design and implement failover procedures and automated backups for trading platforms and FIX engines.
- Develop automation scripts for trade monitoring, reporting, and system alerts.
DevOps Manager:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate software deployment.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support scalable and resilient applications.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes for scalability.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Ansible for consistent and scalable environments.
- Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Enhance security and compliance by integrating best practices within CI/CD workflows.
- Automate routine system administration tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Continuously improve deployment strategies, fault tolerance, and system reliability.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in a DevOps role and/or Platform Administrator, in financial or trading environments.
- Expertise in GitLab CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux administration and network security (firewalls, VPNs, DDoS protection).
- Hands-on MT4 Platform Administration
- FIX API, and liquidity provider integrations is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
Working hours:
- The working hours are 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm (onsite)
