Maintenance Technician - Limassol

The client is a leading property development and management firm in Cyprus, well-known for delivering exceptional projects over the past 20 years. They are looking to hire an Maintenance Technician for their team in Limassol.

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Icon, a high-rise luxury residential building, in Limassol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining The Icon's facilities, supervising subcontractors, and executing maintenance requests. All duties should be performed promptly and in accordance with building standard operating procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the buildings' facilities and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, and other building systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in common areas and apartments.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, manage maintenance inventory, and request parts or quotations when needed.
  • Oversee fire, safety, and alarm systems, ensuring timely repairs and compliance with H&S requirements.
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks (painting, carpentry, landscaping) and manage building waste systems.
  • Respond to emergencies, complete snagging reports, maintain the building logbook, and collect utility consumption data.
  • Supervise subcontractors and renovation works, providing before/after reports.
  • Work closely with the Property Administrator and maintain good relationships with residents and internal teams.
  • Train security staff on building systems and coordinate with authorities (EAC, EOA, etc.) on technical issues.
  • Respond to emergency situations (calls or visits) when required for the luxury property and other company-managed properties.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, protect company assets, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the House Manager.

Required Qualifications and Prerequisites:

  • High School Diploma or Diploma from an Accredited Technical/Vocational School.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in technical or maintenance-related work.
  • Solid understanding and experience of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance tasks; any experience in more complex electromechanical systems and installations will be considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in the safe and effective use of power tools and electrical equipment.
  • Proficiency in Greek and English.
  • Very good computer skills; additional IT competencies will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness and availability to travel between buildings to perform required duties.
