Our Client is one of the oldest Family owned Hotel chains in Cyprus and Greece and they are looking to onboard an Inhouse Lawyer for their existing team to be based in Limassol and the location will be at one of the Hotels. 

Report directly to the Group CEO/ Owner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management & Negotiation
    • Draft, review, contracts from tour operators, staff recruitment agencies, suppliers, contractors, and other partners.
    • Ensure contracts protect the company’s interests and comply with applicable laws.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
    • Monitor and advise on compliance with local, national, and international laws relevant to hospitality operations, including labour law, regulations, and data protection requirements.
    • Develop and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Risk Management & Dispute Resolution
    • Identify potential legal risks and propose strategies.
    • Manage disputes, claims, or litigation, liaising with external advisor where necessary.
  • Employment & Staff Relations
    • Advise HR on employment contracts, staff agreements, disciplinary matters, and termination procedures in line with labour laws.
    • Ensure compliance with immigration and work permit requirements for international hires.
  • Corporate Governance & Documentation
    • Maintain company legal records and ensure timely filing of statutory requirements.
    • Advise on corporate structure and governance matters.
  • General Legal Support
    • Provide day-to-day legal advice to management and operational teams.
    • Keep the business updated on changes in relevant legislation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Law degree and current license to practice.
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, labour law, and commercial law.
  • Experience in compliance management and risk assessment.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.

  • +full 13th salary at the end of each year

Working hours:

  • The working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 with one-hour break, during that hour all staff can take lunch at the restaurant of the Hotel.
