Our Client one of the Top 4 Accounting and Auditing firms are currently assisting an external client of theirs who is a reputable Property Development Company based in Pafos who is looking for a Head of IT .
Location - Pafos - HYBRID - You will need to be in x2 a week.
About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of IT to lead the technology function of an established property development and construction group in Cyprus.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the Group's IT strategy, ensuring reliable and secure IT operations, and driving digital transformation across the business.
- The role will involve overseeing IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, business applications and technology projects, while working closely with senior management and operational teams to support the Group's growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement the Group's IT strategy, aligning technology investments with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- IT Infrastructure & Operations: Oversee networks, servers, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, end-user systems, backups and disaster recovery.
- Business Systems & ERP: Manage and optimise ERP, CRM, financial and project management systems supporting property development, construction, procurement and finance.
- Digital Transformation: Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve reporting and introduce technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Construction Technology: Support the adoption and integration of relevant construction technologies, including BIM platforms, document management systems and project collaboration tools, where applicable.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Establish IT security policies, manage access controls, protect company data and ensure business continuity.
- IT Budget & Procurement: Prepare and manage the IT budget, oversee software and hardware procurement, and optimise licensing and technology expenditure.
- Vendor Management: Manage external IT providers, software vendors and consultants, ensuring service quality, cost-effectiveness and compliance with agreed SLAs.
- Team Management: Lead and develop the IT team, prioritise workloads and ensure effective delivery of IT services across the Group.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with the CEO, CFO, COO, project directors, engineers and other department heads to identify technology requirements and deliver suitable solutions.
- Policies & Governance: Establish IT procedures, documentation and controls to support operational resilience and appropriate regulatory compliance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- At least 8–10 years of experience in IT, including significant experience in a senior management or leadership position.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity and technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of ERP and CRM systems, Microsoft 365, cloud solutions and IT service management.
- Experience with digital transformation, systems integration and business process optimisation.
- Experience within property development, real estate, construction, engineering or a multi-entity corporate group would be a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with construction-related systems, such as BIM, project management platforms and document control solutions, would be beneficial.
- Experience managing IT budgets, external providers and internal technical teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; Greek would be an advantage or a requirement depending on the organisation.
Benefits & Working Hours:
- Competitive salary based on skills and experience + 13th salary
- The working hours are 8.5 hours from Monday – Thursday and 6 hours on Fridays.
