Our client, a well-known gym based in Nicosia, is currently looking for a Front of House Manager to join their team. This is a Managerial and Supervisory role which ensures that all departments of the gym studio are running smoothly and efficiently. The official start date for this role is Monday 16th June 2025, however the successful candidate will need to be available before then for training and handover.
Position Overview:
- The key focus is to ensure that clients experience the best possible customer service in handling their accounts' requests.
- This includes memorising clients' names and preferences, assisting with client membership queries, dealing with client complaints that may arise, all while taking care of the day to day Manager's tasks timely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Reception Department and Workout Rooms
- Daily use of our wellness and fitness booking system which processes customer payments and manages customer accounts and class credits (Extensive training will be provided)

- Managing external email correspondence with third party Partners for booking clients in
- Monitoring reception supplies and placing orders whenever necessary
- Responsible for studio 'show rounds' to prospective walk-in clients and showcasing the site where clients register, buy and book their class sessions
- Responsible for the general upkeep of the workout rooms'; checking up on cleanliness, equipment accessories potential fixtures and for the organisation of gym equipment as and when necessary
- Making sure all gym equipment and the general facilities are functioning optimally. These include but are not limited to treadmills, sound and light system, A/C units, changing rooms, plumbing issues, lockers, bar equipment, laundry equipment, stickered signs
Housekeeping Department:
- Working daily and closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure that;
- The workout rooms and all of the gym's communal spaces are up to standard in terms of cleanliness, products' organisation and display
- All toiletries and cleaning stock supplies are ordered in time via our dedicated suppliers' contacts
- Training and shower towels are properly washed and displaying in the changing rooms
- Responsible for the quarterly service appointments of the washer and dryer units
Bar Department:
- Email management with third party Suppliers in sourcing food & beverage products
- Management of the Wolt Merchant Portal in updating stock and uploading new products
- Dealing with the Protein shakes bar suppliers and placing weekly stock orders
- Checking stock levels and stock counts daily while restocking the fridge, freezer and cupboard supplies as and when necessary
Retail Department:
- Inform clients of running promotions, seasonal discounts and ‘selling fast’ pieces
- Upsell and promote the merchandise to new and existing clients
- Ensure merchandise is replenished when items get sold
General Responsibilities:
- You will be the Person Responsible for all Operational aspects, reporting directly to the company's Directors. This includes the overseeing of Reception and Workout Rooms, Refuel Bar and Housekeeping Departments
- Responsible for the weekly Staff rota shifts of the Reception & Refuel Bar Departments
- Responsible for handling customer complaints in a smart and professional manner (Brand-specific tutoring will be provided)
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Manager / Receptionist / Secretary (or similar position)
- Excellent English and Greek written and verbal communication skills
- People’s oriented with an aptitude for public relations
- Friendly approach and process driven, laser focused with a planned and positive-can-do attitude
- Ability to prioritise a to-do list within a fast-paced work setting while keeping up with internal operational tasks
- Aptitude and appetite to learn the ropes of our wellness and fitness booking system
- Flexibility in working shifts; consisting of late finishes and *Saturday shifts (*only twice a month)
- Basic bartending skills in preparing protein shakes
Working Days and Hours:
- Monday - Friday (5 days): 6am - 2pm and/or 2pm - 10pm
- Saturday - (only twice a month): 7am - 3pm
