Our client is a Group of Companies with offices in Limassol are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant that will also have some Administrative functions.
Financial & Accounting Responsibilities:
- Post journal entries and to keep management records on the basis of initial documents in accounting software and/or Excel.
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodical reports.
- Preparation of analytical data based on accounting data upon request.
- Archive primary documents, provide documents to the management upon request.
- Communication with external accountants on the preparation of financial statements of entities: provision of primary documents and information upon request
- Assist in conducting audit of the entities, communication with auditors.
- Reconcile accounting record with the counteragents’ record annually or upon request.
- Prepare, update and monitor loan schedules and loan agreements for validity.
- Monitor timely settlement of bills: collect bills and payment requests, check supporting documents and initiate payments
- Preparation of payment instruction and communication with banks
- Communication with service providers and contractors; obtaining invoices, control over goods and services delivery
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and ordering inventory of office supplies.
- Communicating with landlord on all administrative matters in relation to the lease of the office
- Maintaining the office condition and arranging necessary repairs
- Maintaining office in good order
- Translation support to the office personnel when required.
- Answering and directing phone calls, arranging tele- and videoconferences
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Photocopying, scanning and faxing documents upon request.
- Providing support to new employees and expats in their social matters in Cyprus
- Handling air tickets/hotel bookings/visas for Cyprus office employees and arranging the same for guest and employees of offices in other jurisdictions.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Fluent Russian and English, intermediate Greek (not must, but an advantage);
- 2-3 years of accounting experience.
- Diligent and accurate.
- Strong PC Skills in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, Word, etc.;
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
Salary
- The client is offering a salary up to 54,000 Euros gross annually based on experience
