Our client, a Group of Companies in Limassol, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant who will play a key role in supporting the Finance Department with daily financial operations and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should be organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist with audit queries related to supplier invoices and bank payments
- Update cash payment forecasts
- File invoices, bank payments, and correspondence systematically
- Ensure supplier invoices are approved and correctly posted in accounting software
- Handle and reconcile petty cash, maintaining the petty cash register
- Post bank payments and perform monthly reconciliations
- Support the preparation of monthly valuation sheets and client invoicing
- Assist with VAT payment documentation and queries
- Handle daily finance-related queries and administrative tasks
- Prepare internal and external documentation in line with purchasing procedures
- Communicate with suppliers on outstanding invoices
- Assist with executing online payments
- Run errands related to finance and administration as required
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar finance role, especially in payables and receivables
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, with a solution-oriented and proactive mindset
- Demonstrates accuracy, diligence, and confidentiality in all tasks
Working hours:
- The working hours are 07:00-16:00 or 08.00: 17:00, Monday to Friday (one hour lunch break).
