Our client is an International Tech Company in Limassol is looking for an Accounting Manager who will be managing a team and be responsible for financial reporting and record maintenance of several legal entities for consolidation purposes, in accordance with the relevant accounting standards. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Managing, leading and developing a team of accountants.
- Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports of the Company
- Working with the external auditors over the completeness and accuracy of the financial records on a timely manner.
- Reviewing the analysis of the financial results to ensure correctness and that relevant provisions are booked.
- Ensuring that operations are within approved budget guidelines.
- Monitoring the profitability of the legal entities and ensures that the relevant corporate units are updated.
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards.
Requirements:
- ICAEW / ACCA / ACA / certification
- At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience working as a controller in a group of companies.
- At least 2-3 years of proven managerial experience, with the ability to build and develop a team.
- Strong accounting and analytical skills and experience in the preparation of financial accounts.
- Experience with SAP is must.
- Knowledge of tax accounting is an advantage.
- Excellent English skills
Working hours:
- The working days are Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm with an hour off. This is a hybrid role: working 3 days from the office and 2 from home.
