Trade Operations & Liquidity Specialist - Nicosia

Our client, a leading provider of online foreign exchange (forex) trading, CFD trading and spread betting, is looking for a Trade Operations & Liquidity Specialist who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of trades the emerging crypto landscape. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of trade operations, including liquidity provisioning, settlement, and reconciliation, contributing to company’s success in this dynamic new market.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of trade execution data across all markets to identify inconsistencies, errors, or potential compliance violations.
  • Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Verify adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies across all trading activities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance trade execution processes and controls.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s Crypto products and services.
  • Leverage knowledge of happy path trade execution data to detect deviations and potential risks.
  • Participate in liquidity provisioning activities to ensure sufficient market depth and efficient trade execution.
  • Support settlement operations and contribute to the reconciliation process to ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on trade audit and operational findings.
  • Stay abreast of the evolving regulatory landscape in the crypto space.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in trade operations, settlement, or a related role within a trading company, preferably with exposure to crypto markets.
  • Understanding of liquidity management and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the crypto industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.

Working Hours: 

  • 40 hours/week - Monday to Friday. Working from the office 3 days per week
