Our client is a leading renewable energy company based in Nicosia offering clean, sustainable and affordable energy solutions and serving customers in all industries and they are currently looking to recruit a qualified Electrical Technician who will be responsible for overseeing the installation, setup, maintenance, and repair of solar systems and related equipment for the Company's customers. 

This includes ensuring compliance with industry standards, addressing technical issues, staying updated on product information and safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

The company offers a full range of: UPS Systems, DC Storage, Renewable Energy (Solar Panels & Inverters) and EV Charging Stations. Our mission is to create a greener future by providing innovative renewable energy products and services that reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. 

Job title: Electrical Technician

Reporting to: Head of Technical Department

Core responsibilities:

  • Prepare setup of inverters and other equipment before they are sent to the Company’s customers
  • Be up to date with industry standards and technical information about the set-up and installation of each product
  • Assessments of the job site, identification and resolving any potential technical issues.
  • Inspect, maintain and repair solar panel systems, including the solar collectors, inverters and batteries.
  • Stay up to date with local safety regulations and the specifications of the manufacturer for all products.
  • Address customer queries following the installation and ensure any faulty products are maintained within the warranty period.
  • Ensure correct billing of maintenance services to existing customers and associates. 
  • Provide support to end-users
  • Offer any other related services as requested
  • Monitor Solar installations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree from ATI, TEI, University, or another equivalent institution in the field of Electronics.
  • Possession of a license to install PV systems will be considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in solar installations will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
  • Strong focus on customer service and excellence.
  • Proficiency in PC operation at the administrator level.
  • Ability to independently read and comprehend working and technical documentation.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
  • Demonstrated team spirit and methodical approach.
  • Completion of military obligations, if applicable.

Salary:

  • The salary will range between €17,000 to €19,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. 

Working hours 

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
