A Technology Solutions Provider in Limassol is looking for a Technical Field Support. In this role you will serve as the dedicated technical presence for the HQ based in Larnaca, while primarily located in Limassol. This position requires a weekly visit to the Larnaca offices to collaborate with the HQ technical team. The role is essential in maintaining the integrity and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure, providing efficient and timely support for both hardware and software issues, and ensuring that users' IT needs are met seamlessly. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented IT professional who is passionate about providing exceptional technical support and contributing to the smooth operation of a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support in the installation, configuration, and regular maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to end-user applications, network connectivity, and IT equipment.
  • Offer high-quality technical support to end-users, addressing their day-to-day IT challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring compliance with internal security and data protection policies.
  • Manage the inventory of IT assets, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition and properly accounted for.
  • Work closely with the HQ technical team to identify, escalate, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay current with emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions to the organization’s needs.
  • Document all technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions to contribute to the internal knowledge base
  • Participate in IT projects and upgrades to support the organization’s continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • A solid understanding of computer systems, networking concepts, software applications, and hardware support.
  • Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach to solving technical problems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with staff members and stakeholders
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT support role, with a focus on end-user support and system administration.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting, server management, and security protocols.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of IT asset management and support ticketing systems.
  • Flexibility to travel between Limassol and Larnaca offices once a week.

Working hours:

  • The working hours are Monday – Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 with 1 hour lunch break (onsite role)
