Our client is an online trading service provider with offices globally and they are currently recruiting for a Technical Architect for their Limassol based office
Job Description:
As a Technical Architect you'll play a key role in designing our IT infrastructure. Your guidance will be instrumental in the successful implementation of our projects. You'll take part in initial discussions and guide our teams at every stage of the project. You'll also measure our systems' performance, and solve problems before they escalate. Your expertise will be essential to our plans for growth and help us remain scalable.
Your challenges:
Identify the company's technological needs in collaboration with our Chief Technology Officer and other leaders. Then, translate complex requirements into functional architecture.
Design technology solutions based on our current and future needs, and collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure successful implementation.
Measure the performance of newly installed systems, and provide management with post-installation feedback and recommendations.
Troubleshoot system issues as they arise, and work with relevant teams to prevent them from recurring.
Conduct training and walkthroughs on new system procedures for team members.
Requirements:
12+ years of experience in technical development with emphasis on architecture and design
Previous work experience as a technical architect, preferably in the fintech industry
Managerial experience
The ability to transform basic specifications into big-picture designs and solve complex problems
Knowledge of information security and data protection
Experience in cloud technologies
Familiarity with programming languages and various operating systems
Fluency in spoken and written English
What's good to have:
A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
A good understanding of other disciplines such as product development and project management
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
