This audit/accounting firm in Larnaca is looking a Tax Associate (Accountant or Lawyer) with at least 2-3 years' experience in tax.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the tax compliance of the clients
Preparing/review of tax computations/ tax returns
Preparing tax advice reports
Assisting clients with tax investigations
Understanding and analysing tax technical issues
Communicate with Tax Authorities
Undertaking effective research towards providing effective tax solutions for clients (tax planning)
Other Corporate Duties with Registrar of Companies
Reporting results of work performed to Director
Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant experience
University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in Accounting, Law, Finance Management, Business Administration or similar discipline
Holder of or be in the last stage of pursuing a Professional Accounting/Tax Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ADIT)
Strong knowledge and practical experience on Cyprus Direct and Indirect Tax Laws, Regulations and Circulars
Strong knowledge and practical experience on IFRS implementation.
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
Excellent knowledge of Caseware/ Taxisnet/ Advanced Excel/ Word
Work permit/EU-citizen
The working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7:45 - 5:15 with on our lunch break and Wednesday and Friday from 7:45 - 15:00
