Our client is a Retail shop in Nicosia is looking for a Shop Manager with previous managerial experience, who is confident, hands-on, and able to manage the shop in Nicosia. We are looking for a professional and friendly Shop Manager with experience, who can independently manage and continuously improve the retail shop. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, initiative, and structure, ensuring reliable and responsible oversight of shop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the shop
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers and staff
- Lead, support, and work harmoniously with shop staff
- Take responsibility for stock management, ensuring accuracy and availability at all times • Oversee cashier operations and ensure correct cash handling and records
- Communicate closely and effectively with the warehouse team regarding stock needs and issues
- Identify, improve, and optimize shop processes, layout, and daily operations
- Ensure the shop is always clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Monitor shop performance and address operational issues promptly
- Address issues proactively and report important matters with professionalism and urgency
- Ensure company procedures and standards are consistently followed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory retail role (preferred)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to manage stock, cash handling, and daily operations responsibly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in Greek and English
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and cooperative nature
Working Hours:
The shop is open the following hours, but the successful candidate will be working on a shift basis and will be working no more than 40hrs per week.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9.30am-6.30pm
Wednesday, Saturday: 9.30am-2.30pm
