Our client, a Law firm, which is part of a group of companies specializing in legal, consulting, advisory, accounting, licensing and other services, is looking for a talented senior lawyer to join the legal department in Limassol. In this role, you will be part of the legal team and report to Directors and Partners of the Group.
This is a position for someone who wishes to be part of a team who is growing steadily and enjoys working alongside the Partners, Directors, other senior lawyers and other professionals from the group and wishes to be professionally evolved.
Responsibilities:
- Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on commercial contracts, corporate documents and legal documents
- Lead and support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, joint ventures and due diligence exercises
- Manage and maintain strong corporate governance practices across the client portfolio
- Manage and support junior lawyers, legal and paralegal staff, contribution to team development and knowledge sharing
- Providing guidance on compliance matters arising from ongoing supervision and regulatory processes
- Ensure effective management and organization of legal documentation, files and licenses.
Requirements:
- Fluent Greek and English skills
- Degree in Law
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law
- Proven experience in handling complex corporate transactions and drafting sophisticated commercial agreements
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate frameworks, corporate governance and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail
Working Hours:
- The working hours are very flexible.
- From Monday-Thursday you can choose to start from 7.30am-9am. The lunch break needs to be 30 minutes minimum and 90 minutes maximum. You will make 8 hours a day, so you can finish from 4.30pm -6pm.
- Friday is half day 8.30 -2pm.
- You can choose to work 1 day from home from Monday-Thursday (not Friday).
