For our client, a private Family Office based in Nicosia, we are looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Accountant to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting requirements of a portfolio of Cyprus and international companies, including offshore entities and investment structures.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting and bookkeeping records for a portfolio of Cyprus, EU and offshore companies, including entities registered in jurisdictions such as BVI and Bermuda.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and execute payments through various banking platforms, including supplier invoices and day-to-day treasury transactions.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, external accountants and other professional service providers.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare budgets and perform variance analysis.
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports and investment portfolio reporting, including holdings, valuations and performance information.
- Review and record investment-related transactions, ensuring accurate accounting treatment.
- Assist with CRS and FATCA compliance matters, coordinating with external advisors where required.
- Work with investment portfolio and reporting platforms, such as Addepar or similar systems.
- Utilise AI and modern productivity tools to improve reporting, research, data analysis and daily accounting processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, financial reporting and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge, with excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with international companies, including offshore and multi-jurisdictional structures.
- Good understanding of CRS requirements and exposure to FATCA-related matters.
- Experience with investment portfolios, wealth management structures and related financial or performance reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using accounting and financial reporting software.
- Experience liaising with external auditors and preparing supporting financial documentation.
- Good practical knowledge of AI tools and their application within accounting and finance.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- High level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.

Salary:
- €45,000 – €50,000 annual gross + performance-based bonus.
