Our Client is one of the oldest Family owned Hotel chains in Cyprus and Greece and they are looking to onboard an Risk and Compliance Lead
for their existing team to be based in Limassol and the location will be at one of the Hotels.

The position reports to the Chief Sustainability & Compliance Officer of the Group. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain Risk Management and Compliance programs across hotel operations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies, processes and procedure, international and legal requirements.
  • Perform H&S risk Assessment, identify potential risks and propose corrective actions or preventive measures.
  • Lead Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management initiatives within hotel based on group guidelines. 
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management highlighting compliance status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Carry out daily and monthly duties as per Wavemaker Hospitality group procedures 
  • Coordinate with hotel managers and staff to ensure consistent application of procedures.
  • Train staff on compliance, food safety, health and safety, emergency, and sustainability  
  • Monitor and report on emerging industry regulations and trends to ensure company compliance.

Experience, Qualifications & Certification Requirements:

  • Background in Food Technology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with management system implementation (ISO 9001, 22000, 14001,45001, Travelife ) is a plus.
  • Basic training in ISO 9001, 14001 & 22000 management systems 
  • Internal audit experience and strong auditing skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations is advantageous.

Education Requirements & Skills:

  • University Diploma or Degree.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Previous hotel operations experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary depending on Experience 
  • +full 13th salary at the end of each year
  • + 20% 14th salary during Easter time (after the completion of 10 working months).

Working Hours; 

  • 5 Days a week (Monday – Friday) 
  • 09:00-18:00 (1h lunch break)  
  • During that hour all staff can take lunch at the restaurant of the Hotel.
