Our client is a Pharmaceutical Company in Limassol. They are now looking to employ a Quality (QA/ QC) Specialist to join their growing team and contribute to the establishment, qualification, and ongoing oversight of our laboratory and quality operations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and organize the laboratory environment.
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for laboratory instruments, chemicals, reagents, and general glassware.
- Conduct initial and periodic qualification and calibration of laboratory premises and equipment.
- Perform technical transfer of analytical testing methods for pharmaceutical finished products, and prepare detailed protocols and reports for each transfer.
- Execute release testing of pharmaceutical products in line with approved procedures and specifications.
- Write, maintain, and update QC/QA SOPs, product specifications, and test methods; harmonize existing procedures with the updated quality system.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, including laboratory notebooks and controlled records.
- Support the EU QP with batch release activities and assist the EU QPPV in finalizing SDEAs.
- Act as a point of contact during customer and regulatory audits, providing support and technical guidance.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment including:
- Dissolution testers
- Disintegration testers
- UV spectrophotometers
- Analytical & tabletop balances
- Titrators
- Particle size analyzers
- Homogenizers
- Experience in microbiological testing (preferred but not required).
- Experience with ICP-MS and GC (preferred but not required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in English and Greek (written & verbal).
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, compliance-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Hours:
The working hours are 9am – 5pm (onsite role)
