Our client is an international business consultancy providing outsourced Payroll Services to both local and international clients based in Cyprus.
They are looking to hire a detail-oriented and proactive person to fill the role of Payroll Officer who will support payroll processing for Cyprus-based employees.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll data for Cyprus-based employees, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Collaborate with the external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Assist in payroll reconciliations, internal audits, and preparation of monthly payroll reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and employee records, ensuring compliance with Cyprus employment laws and data privacy regulations.
- Handle payroll-related queries and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
The successful candidate will have:
- 1–3 years of experience in payroll processing, HR administration, or a related role within Cyprus.
- Good understanding of Cyprus labor law, payroll regulations, and social insurance procedures.
- Ability to manage both in-office and off-site responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with HR or payroll systems.
- Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken).
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
