Our client is a Group of Companies with entities within the Payment, EMI and Crypto sectors and they are actively looking to recruit an experienced execution-driven Operations Professional with deep hands-on experience in licensing, regulatory structuring, and operational compliance across payments, fintech, and crypto-related businesses.
This role sits at the intersection of legal, compliance, risk, and business operations and a good fit for someone who understands how licensing, structure, and operating models connect and how to make them work in practice.
What is this role about
You will be responsible for building and executing licensing and group-level structures that support real operations, not theoretical compliance. You will work with clear strategic direction, guidelines, and decision paths already defined. What we need is someone who can execute, operationalize, and drive outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Execute EU and offshore licensing strategies, including:
- EMIs, PIs, PSPs
- CASP / VASP frameworks
Payment gateways and fintech platforms, Implement group and intra-group structuring, including:
- Entity purpose and regulatory role definition
- Risk allocation and decentralization
- Functional separation between regulated and non-regulated entities
Ensure new entities are operationally ready, including:
- Banking and payment access
- Tier-1 liquidity and settlement partners
- AML, compliance, and technology audits
Support operations by ensuring structures:
- Pass regulatory and banking scrutiny
- Are scalable, auditable, and defensible
- Align with real product and transaction flows
You are coming from.
- A specialized licensing / structuring consulting firm, or
- A regulated fintech, payments, or crypto group with complex multi-entity structures
And you have.
- Strong on EU regulation (baseline)
- Experienced in offshore structuring beyond agent-driven setups
- Comfortable operating across legal, compliance, risk, and business
- Able to connect regulatory theory with operational reality
- Used to being accountable for delivery, not just advice
This role is not for:
Promoters or jurisdiction sellers and pure legal profiles without operational exposure or Compliance candidates limited to monitoring and reporting
