Our client is a well-established international Ship Management Company and they are looking to hire an Office Manager / HR Representativeto assist to set up their new office in Paphos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-today operation of the office, supporting administrative tasks, and contributing to a positive work environment. They are looking to hire a very experienced person with a strong network and knowledge of the Cyprus culture. The job will start in the first week of January 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up a new office in Paphos: ordering furniture and office equipment, negotiations.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and handling incoming/outgoing mails
- Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate maintenance of office equipment
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage conference room calendars
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
- Support HR and Operations with administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and welcoming
- Manage the onboarding of new employees
- Maintain HR records, reports and sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek
- At least 5 years proven experience as an Office Administrator
- Experience with HR Administration duties
- Understanding of local laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Organized multitasking individual with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Warm and pleasant personality with strong soft skills
- Located in Paphos
- Available to start from the 4th of January 2026
Working hours:
- The working hours are 08:00 to 17:00 or 09:00 to 18:00, with one hour lunch break Monday to Friday (onsite role)
