Our client is a long established boutique Law Firm looking to expand their team and hire a qualified and experienced Lawyer to join their existing team in Limassol.
The position will be responsible for:
Draft, review and negotiate contracts including for the sale and purchase of shares, shareholders' agreements as well as for the purchase/sale of property.
Knowledge and experience in handling of property transactions and procedures
Ability to handle corporate transactions including carrying out legal due diligence, provide legal opinions, prepare the relevant documentation for Companies, resolutions, POAs and other ancillary documents.
Ability to coordinate directly with clients, take part in meetings either by physical presence or through web based applications and software,
Preparing or assisting with the preparation of bank forms
Conducting legal research
Experience in handling temporary and permanent residency applications will be considered an advantage
Good knowledge of KYC/AML Compliance procedures and monitoring will be considered an advantage
Knowledge and experience of liquidation proceedings will be considered an advantage
Experience in handling Probates and Administrations will be considered an advantage
The ideal candidate will have/be:
University Degree in Law from an English University or alternatively an excellent use of the English language
Legal Practise Course or Bar Vocational Course will be considered an advantage
Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
At least 3 years post qualification experience
Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Fluent in Greek and English languages.
