Our client, a Maritime Services Company in Limassol, is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant who will play a key role in supporting our accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth financial operations. This is a great opportunity to grow in the accounting field and develop your skills within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue Accounts Receivable invoices to clients accurately and on time.
  • Generate and send account statements to clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Address and resolve client billing inquiries, providing timely and professional support.
  • Identify and correct billing errors by issuing debit or credit notes as needed.
  • Perform reconciliations with customers’ records to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly statements of account with external entities.
  • Collaborate with the catering and training departments to verify and ensure the accuracy of Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field.
  • Computer literacy; excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work interdependently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • 1–2 years of  experience in an Accounts Receivable or Payments function is a plus
  • Experience within the maritime industry is a plus

Working Hours: 

  • The standard working hours are from 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday and on Fridays they work from 08:00 until 14:00.
