Our client is a Service Solutions Provider offering end-to-end support across compliance, operations, financial management, and back-office/verification services for various industries and are currently recruiting for a Junior Accountant to join the team at their Limassol offices.

  • Additionally, we provide back-office support for service providers, including administrative assistance, payroll processing, document management, and specialized management training to strengthen decision-making and optimize performance.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a great opportunity to build your career in accounting while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, bank reconciliations).
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Help with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on audits and compliance tasks.
  • Prepare bank transfers in online banking systems and execute payments.
  • Maintain the creditors ledger, process supplier payments (local & foreign), and reconcile statements.
  • Prepare invoices and/or receipts.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations (bank, cash, debtors, creditors).
  • Update the debtors ledger, manage debt collection, monitor receipts, and post transactions promptly.
  • Maintain an orderly financial filing system.
  • Record journal entries for income, expenses, payments, and collections.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounts team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience.
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written
  • Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, or basic financial reports is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
