Our client is a Payment Service Provider in Limassol looking for a hands-on DevOps IT Systems Administrator who can lead the infrastructure transition from on-premise to cloud (AWS), while also handling office IT needs, user support, and company systems setup.
Responsibilities:
- Migrate internal systems and Statements System from on-premise (pizza servers) to AWS.
- Manage and secure PostgreSQL databases, application servers, and storage.
- Set up and maintain Google Workspace for company communications.
- Maintain network security, backups, and user provisioning.
- Support and troubleshoot employee hardware/software issues.
- Build and lead a small IT helpdesk team and one junior admin.
- Create IT policies, asset inventories, and documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on IT/DevOps experience.
- Solid experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).
- Familiarity with network security, VPNs, backups, and monitoring tools.
- Experience setting up and managing Google Workspace.
- Previous experience in SMB or startup environments preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to wear multiple hats: strategic and operational.
- Work permit/EU-citizenship
- Located in Cyprus
Working hours:
The working hours are 09:00 to 17:30, Monday – Friday (onsite but hybrid can be discussed if you are located outside Limassol)
