Our client is an IT Company based in Limassol and they are looking for an IT Support/Field Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first level onsite/local and remote support to end-users (desktop and notebook PCs and peripherals)
- Manage, monitor, maintain and support customer and in-house systems, applications and infrastructure.
- Analyze logs and use the company’s monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Contribute to technical lifecycle projects such as updating and patching of operating systems, equipment software/firmware and equipment replacements/upgrades.
- Deploy/install various IT systems and infrastructure.
- Fulfil any other duties relevant to the role assigned by the company's management
Requirements:
- University/college degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant subject
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux Server and Desktop operating systems
- Good understanding of basic networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Prior experience, knowledge or active certifications in VMWare, Microsoft, Cisco, Veeam and similar technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communicational skills in Greek and English, both verbal and writing.
- Car (category B, Manual) driving license
- Good time and task management skills with ability to multitask.
- Self-initiative, self-motivation, self-discipline, dependability and commitment.
- Team player.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Adaptable and quick learner.
Working hours:
- The working hours are from 9am to 6pm with one hour lunch break. Every second Friday afternoon off. This is a hybrid role: 2 days from home and 3 on-site.
