Facilities Manager - Limassol

Our client is a Software Services Company in Limassol is looking for a Facilities Manager with strong managerial experience who will manage and lead the day-to-day operations. The role will be 80% managerial work and 20% facilities inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage end-to-end projects within the site (building works, renovations, space allocation, etc.)
  • Supervise FM & RE experts, maintenance employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor FM & RE suppliers/vendors against contracts.
  • Ensure implementation of safety & security procedures on site as per local safety requirements as well as per the company's policy.
  • Be responsible for property maintenance of company premises and equipment, ensuring the cleanliness of sites, and providing high-standard catering services where needed.
  • Encourage innovative activities aligned with business needs and supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the RE budget within the site.
  • Lead consolidation activities within the site to maximize ROI from building and asset usage.
  • Seek to understand the business challenges and requirements - translate them into tasks and projects to support business & ensure a smooth and safe working environment within the site.
  • Manage 5 employees directly, manage matrix contractors, and vendor contracts, as well as manage small, medium, and large projects with different levels of complexity.
  • Coordinate lease renewals in collaboration with business units and procurement whenever it’s relevant.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or business management is required, as well as proven experience in facilities, operations, and Real Estate areas.
  • Strong managerial experience in business operation and / or facilities managements
  • Understanding facilities terminology, such as electrical knowledge
  • 2-4 years of experience in similar jobs.
  • Basic experience in financial planning & control and/ or inspection and auditing.
  • Experience in project management from planning to execution.
  • Proven experience in managerial roles and/or matrix management.
  • The working days are Monday – Friday
