Our client, a cruise line for Spanish-speaking markets, is looking for an Integration & Systems Support Specialist. We are looking for an immediately available and highly detail-oriented professional to support the operational management of critical guest and reservation data flows during the pre-launch phase of the cruise operations. This role focuses on the temporary manual management and validation of interfaces between multiple operational systems until permanent API integrations are implemented.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with practical IT understanding and is comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where processes are still evolving. This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys combining operational coordination, data quality management, and practical systems support in a dynamic startup environment where flexibility, ownership, and precision are essential. This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent. It will be three months, with 75% chance of becoming permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional maintenance and daily operational support of interconnected reservation, guest portal, and onboard systems
- Manage manual data transfers between systems, including downloading, validating, transforming, and uploading data files
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, uniqueness, and consistency of guest and reservation data across platforms
- Support the operational flow between:
- Reservation system
- Guest web portal (eVoyager)
- Ship PMS system (Resco)
- Monitor and manage guest data processes, including:
- Guest registration
- Passport and document uploads
- Boarding pass and luggage tag generation
- Passenger manifest preparation prior to embarkation
- Prepare and validate passenger manifest exports from eVoyager and support the loading into the onboard PMS environment
- Identify discrepancies, missing data, duplicate records, and interface-related issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external IT suppliers
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for operational and system-related problems
- Document workflows, recurring issues, and interim operational procedures
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and support the transition toward automated API-based integrations
Requirements:
- Immediately available
- Strong operational accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and large datasets
- Practical understanding of IT systems, interfaces, and data structures
- At least a few years experience in system functional maintenance
- Experience with functional application support, operational system administration, or interface management
- Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with suppliers and operational stakeholders
- Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive
- Guest-oriented mindset with understanding of the operational importance of accurate passenger data
- Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly identify bottlenecks and propose practical improvements
- Experience in travel, hospitality, cruise, aviation, or reservation-driven environments is considered a strong advantage
- Guest experience minded person who is very precise
- Fluent English skills. Spanish skills are a plus
- EU-citizenship
Working Hours:
The office hours are 09:00 - 17:00. Preferred office, with option of 1 day from home.
