Our client is a Construction Company who makes big scale projects in Protaras. The Shareholders are from Lebanon, and they have already built through subcontractors more than 100 houses and apartments in the area. They are now looking to employ an experienced Inhouse Accountant. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with 3-4 years of experience to handle and manage our day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will also coordinate effectively with our auditors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries for the group.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Assist in the month-end close process and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process, providing requested information and resolving inquiries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Oversee and implement accounting policies and procedures for improved efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or working towards certification is a plus.
- Experience in Real Estate and Property Management is a plus
- Fluent Greek and English skills
Working hours:
- The working hours are: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 (onsite role)
