Our client is a dynamic independent provider of trust and corporate services established in Cyprus, offering inter alia, tax advisory, fund administration, investment services, accounting and book-keeping, legal services and insolvency services in a number of key jurisdictions. The Group's business is focused on professionalism, attention to detail, and specialization on selected services with a strong partner network worldwide. Currently they are looking to recruit a Financial Services Officer for their established offices in Limassol. This role can be done fully remotely. You’ll only need to go to the office for meetings and some other obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Processing accounting transactions for allocated companies
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintaining loan registers, calculating loan interests
- Maintaining the fixed assets register
- Assisting with the preparation of periodic management accounts and reports as requested
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with International Accounting Standards
- Processing the accounting and assisting with the administration of Funds
- Payroll Processing
- Liaising with the TAX/VAT/Social Insurance authorities as required
- Assisting with the preparation of annual tax computation
- Liaising with auditors and facilitating the audit for allocated companies
- Acting as the main point of contact between several offices, accountants and auditors
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant previous experience within an ASP /corporate services company
- ACCA/ACA qualification will be considered as an advantage
- Fluent business level Greek and English
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Initiative and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Time management and good organizational skills
Working hours:
- The working hours are from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 - 18:00 with an hour lunch break and Friday's from 9:00 - 15:30.
- This role can be done fully remotely.
