A CySEC regulated Forex Trading Company based in Limassol, is looking to hire a Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day company accounts
  • Collect, prepare and analyze financial data from across the organization to create reports that provide data-driven answers to business questions
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecasts and track and analyze variances on a regular basis
  • Continuously planning and rolling forecasts, regularly evaluating the latest numbers to make adjustments
  • Study and analyze trends and forecasts to inform recommended actions
  • Analyze financial data and use financial models for forecasting and run what-if and scenario analysis
  • Monthly tracking and reporting of key financial indicators and KPIs and performance of the various business units
  • Track revenue and gross margin by product and business unit, and expenses by cost center
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Work closely with accounting department to prepare and analyze various reports and financial information
  • Creation of a monthly "CFO" and/or "Executive Management" book that usually provides:
    • Analysis of historical financial and operational data
    • Variance explanations
    • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration, or similar area
  • Professional qualification is a plus (CFA, CMA)
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in finance environment of which at least 2 as a FP&A analyst or financial analyst or equity analyst in an investment company or investment bank
  • Experience in financial analysis, modelling and forecasting
  • Excel proficiency is a must as Spreadsheets are an essential tool in analyzing that data
  • Word and PowerPoint proficiency as the role involves extensive reporting and presentation
  • Tech & Data savvy
  • Proactive and analytical thinking
  • Organized and autonomous
  • Project management skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with other departments
  • Willing to go the extra mile
