Our client is a global early-stage venture capital (VC) firm and startup accelerator that invests in founders at the very beginning of their journey and they are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate to support global finance operations within a fast-paced, international environment.
This role offers exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency operations and provides excellent development opportunities within a growing global business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions across multiple entities and currencies.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations across entities and regions.
- Support month-end close processes and improve reporting accuracy/timelines.
- Maintain organised and audit-ready financial records.
- Review and validate financial data for completeness and accuracy.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years’ experience within finance, accounting, or operations.
- Experience working within multi-entity and/or multi-currency environments.
- Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Organised, proactive, and collaborative approach.
- Must be based in Cyprus.
