Our client, an EU Investment Firm, specializing in Prime Brokerage Services, is looking to recruit a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Business Development to join their team in Limassol, Cyprus. They will be responsible for developing with clients, customers, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the financial services industry and a strong understanding of marketing. Hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and expand market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company's objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
2. Business Development:
- Lead efforts to generate new business leads and contacts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and strategic partners.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with external parties.
3. Team Leadership:
- Manage a team of business development professionals.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
- Set performance goals and track progress towards objectives.
4. Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue streams.
- Drive sales efforts and oversee the development of sales proposals and pitches.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between teams.
6. Market Expansion:
- Explore and enter new markets or territories.
- Assess risks and opportunities associated with expansion initiatives.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on business
Requirements:
- Many years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles in the forex industry
- Experience in opening offices abroad is a must
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strategic thinking and planning skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
