The Digital Transformation Lead is responsible for leading and delivering strategic digital transformation initiatives that improve business performance, customer experience, operational efficiency, and technology capabilities.
The role works closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to define transformation priorities, develop strategic roadmaps, redesign business processes and operating models, and ensure successful execution of complex transformation programmes.
The Digital Transformation Lead acts as the bridge between business strategy and technology, translating business objectives into practical digital solutions and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital transformation strategies aligned with the organisation's business objectives and long-term strategy.
- Assess current business processes, operating models, technology capabilities and customer journeys to identify opportunities for digitisation, automation and performance improvement.
- Define transformation roadmaps, target operating models, business cases, priorities, milestones and implementation plans.
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation programmes from strategy and design through implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Data & Analytics, Cloud, Automation, APIs, digital platforms and other technology-enabled solutions.
- Lead business process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve service quality.
- Work with senior executives and business leaders to define transformation priorities, investment requirements and expected business outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, identify challenges and design future-state solutions.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across business, technology, operations, data, product and external vendors.
- Establish appropriate programme governance, delivery frameworks, reporting structures, risk management and change management processes.
- Manage programme scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks and delivery performance.
- Develop executive-level presentations, transformation business cases, progress reports, recommendations and strategic proposals.
- Ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable improvements in revenue, cost efficiency, customer experience, productivity and operational performance.
- Support organisational change, stakeholder engagement and adoption to ensure sustainable transformation outcomes.
- Manage relationships with technology providers, implementation partners and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor emerging digital and technology trends and assess their potential impact and value for the organisation.
- Establish and track transformation KPIs, benefits realisation and business outcomes.
- Coach and develop transformation, project and business teams while promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in digital transformation, technology consulting, business transformation, programme management, technology delivery or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex transformation programmes from strategy through implementation.
- Proven experience developing transformation strategies, roadmaps, business cases and target operating models.
- Strong understanding of business process optimisation, technology-enabled transformation and operating-model design.
- Experience working with senior executives, business leaders, technology teams and external partners.
- Strong programme and project management capabilities, including scope, budget, resources, risks, dependencies and delivery governance.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how technology can create measurable business value.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Greek language skills are highly desirable for the Cyprus market.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, SAFe or equivalent project/programme management certification.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, Change Management or Business Architecture.
- Experience with Cloud, AI, Data & Analytics, ERP, CRM, automation or digital platforms.
- Experience working within a Big Four consulting firm, management consultancy, technology consultancy or large enterprise transformation function.
- Experience leading transformation initiatives across multiple business units or countries.
- Master's degree or MBA would be considered an advantage.
Leadership Profile:
- The successful candidate will be a strategic and commercially minded transformation leader who can operate comfortably between the executive, business and technology levels.
- They should be able to define the transformation vision, build stakeholder alignment, translate strategy into executable programmes, lead multidisciplinary teams and remain accountable for measurable business outcomes.
