Software engineers work closely with our business leaders and deliver innovative software solutions that drive and power the entire investment process. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Provide technical and functional support for investment teams and operational workflows including issue ownership and resolution 
  • Interface with vendors, external consultants and troubleshoot issues with key vendor products like Bloomberg, Geneva, Alteryx, DealCloud, IVP SecMaster etc. 
  • Provide ownership of site reliability engineering (SRE) function for technology team by establishing and maintaining of operational SLA’s 

What We Look For: 

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in providing technical and functional support 
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field 
  • Meaningful experience with software development i.e. SQL, Python, .Net or equivalent programming languages 
  • Experience with scheduler tooling is preferred – e.g. Jenkins and JAMS 
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, take ownership and solve problems 
  • Effectively communicate problems and solutions with investment, operations and tech teams 
  • Some familiarity with financial industry tooling is preferred (e.g. Geneva, Bloomberg AIMs etc.) 
  • Understanding of cloud-based deployments e.g. AWS 
  • Experience of working with databases 
  • Prior experience with a financial services firm is a plus, but not required
