Our client, a CySEC regulated Forex Company in Limassol, is looking for a Data Analyst. The successful candidate will be a highly business-oriented and technically proficient Data Analyst who will make a tangible impact on business growth, playing a key role in developing the infrastructure and analytics that drive regulatory compliance and empower smarter business decisions. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams and locations to deliver solutions and turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated business intelligence reports and dashboards for management, compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, compliance team, regulatory submissions and audits
- Conduct data quality assessment to ensure data accuracy and integrity, implement data governance best practices
- Collaborate with trading, marketing, and product teams to support pricing strategy analysis and spread optimization initiatives, and to optimize allover business strategies
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including client acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and trading volumes
- Create comprehensive analysis of client trading patterns, risk metrics, and profitability analysis Perform client segmentation analysis to support targeted marketing campaigns and product development
- Work with IT teams to optimize database performance and data architecture
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer or similar role in financial services, preferably in a CySEC or similar EU-regulated CFD/Forex brokers or investment firms
- Strong understanding of CFD products, financial markets, and trading mechanics
- Education background in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related quantitative field is preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and database management
- Expert-level skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Project management capabilities, including requirements gathering and solution implementation
- A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Collaborative team player with ability to work across departments
Working hours:
- The working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 (onsite)
