Our client is a Payment Service Provider in Limassol is looking for a Data Analyst who will be responsible for analysing data, creating data models, and providing valuable insights through statistical analysis. Communication skills are key as you will need to effectively present your findings and collaborate with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse payments data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Work closely with the technical team to understand system behaviour and optimise payment routing.
- Utilise advanced data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights.
- Be proficient in Excel and other relevant tools to manipulate, analyse, and visualise data effectively.
- Design and develop comprehensive dashboards to monitor payments traffic and key performance indicators.
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Generate regular reports summarising key findings and performance metrics.
- Communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align data analysis efforts with organisational goals.
- Assist in the development of strategies to improve payment processing efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the payments industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Experience in building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with payments systems and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards in the payments industry.
- Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics
Working hours:
- The working hours are 9am-5.30pm with 30 minutes break (onsite role).
