Business Development Officer - to work with Banking and Financial Institutions to join their team in Larnaca.
Overview:
- We are seeking a highly driven and charismatic Business Development Executive to join our team (part time or full time). The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the financial services sector—particularly in forex, EMI, and related financial markets (Cyprus / Europe) —and a proven track record of bringing new business opportunities to the company.
- This role requires exceptional communication skills, relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to confidently represent the company in a variety of professional environments. The successful candidate will leverage their connections, insights, and industry knowledge to drive growth and expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across financial services, forex, EMI, and other relevant sectors.
- Utilize an existing strong network of industry professionals to generate leads and build strategic partnerships.
- Represent the company with confidence in meetings, presentations, conferences, and networking events.
- Understand market trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes to craft compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients and aligned business goals.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for prospective and existing clients.
- Work closely with management to define business development strategies and meet growth targets.
- Contribute to the overall enhancement of the company’s brand and market influence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5–10 years of proven experience in business development, primarily in financial services, forex, or EMI industries.
- A well-established and powerful professional network within the financial services sector.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and close deals effectively.
- Charismatic, persuasive, and confident personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and client expectations.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple business opportunities simultaneously.
- Greek - Excellent spoken and written communication skills (good to have)
- English - Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
